World's Tallest Doctor
Jan 05, 2008
My mini wrapped in clingfilm

It so happened the other night that I was in the company of two tall gentlemen. We gamed like geeks on Mario Kart (I strongly believe it should become a category in the Olympics). And after the usual drunken thoughts and conversations about the fastest ways to get to the moon, and a few bouts of arm wrestling to see who was the strongest (I happened to be weakest in the room, due to a small wrist sprain a picked up back in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban (that's such a bad lie)).

Anyway, what we got out of this night was something truly beautiful. You've all seen Scrubs. That amusing TV show about some not so young doctors. Well, they thought they had 'the world's tallest doctor'? Ha. I laugh in their face.

At this point to make it all fair, we decided to call Turk and JD. They were a bit irritated at our calling quite so late (different time zones and that), but they eventually agreed to fly over and amuse us (James may also have promised some special attention on JD's arrival in order to secure the effort needed on their part).

After some wrestling they all got dressed, I found a camera and took the picture you see today. As one can clearly see, Southampton has the world's tallest doctor, not rubbish old uncle Sam. This point was not well received by Turk, as was made apparent in his facial expression.
