I've Been Doing a Lot of Thinking

So you've probably seen those lovely adverts for three mobile. They used to have that cute little Japanese (I think) girl getting sung to by a cherry. Now they just seem to bombard the world with their online advertising (which if anyone from phone world is watching, are excruciatingly annoying).
Anyway, what you probably have seen or heard of Three Mobile is their really cool graphics, their easy to use website and their seemingly amazing contract deals. They do sound amazing, I mean who wouldn't want as many minutes and texts as Chuck Norris has balls?
As soon as I got my phone, I noticed that I couldn't always make calls when I wanted to. After several attempts to dial a number while standing in the same place it eventually gets through. For some mystical reason, perhaps known as incompetence, my phone has issues in calling people at about, well, the times when most people use their phone; lunch time and just after work (for real people that is about 4-6pm, I think). So, I walk out of a lecture for some lunch, am looking for a friend, try to use my phone and it doesn't work. And if that wasn't enough, this network issue also encompasses people calling me at busy times. So not only am I fuming, but someone out there potentially thinks I'm a twat because they can never get through.
On top of this, a couple of monts ago, I tried to tweak my contract so that I could pay a little less, I thought a £30 bill was a bit excessive. I talked to someone in Mumbai who blatantly had a fake name, Steve or something. Steve was jovial enough and he changed my contract so I could pay more, twice the ammount in fact. In his notes of the conversation (because they don't seem to have recorded messages available), he wrote down what he wanted to hear, Tony wants to pay 3 mobile twice as much for pretty much the same thing.
Now fuming and £120 down(I was ridiculously slow realising), I phoned 3 up again to complain and try and get my money back. 'Oh, sorry Sir, but you are recorded as having requested to have your price plan changed to this specification' [exhale slowly and stay calm, try and reason with them Tony]. After some three more phone calls, I am then promised to talk to an executive of the company who will discuss with me what has gone wrong and how to help me, this call is supposed to happen 24hrs after the request is placed. I was given this promise three(!) times in total and on none of the occasions did I get a call back!
Eventually I asked for phone to be cut off and contract cancelled after my 18 months minimum was up. 'Sorry Sir, a termination must be given at a minimum of 30 days notice and a maximum of 45 days notice. Would you like to buy a bolt on?'
